Ay, ay, ay!

Photophobia.

Visually impaired.

Colourblind.

Is it me, or it's a curse for top creatives to work here? Is it a coincidence? Is there some sort of a paranormal calculations some where that made these people end up here? Suspicious, isn't it?

Driving in Malaysia #432

You'll be getting constant high beams for driving anything more than a paper thick behind any vehicle.

Kiss the car in front if you may.

You know you're old when...

Was strolling along the mall blankly, pacing my way to the office, I bumped into Since Primary Two with the daughter and ex-wife...

"Oi..."

"Eh? Oh... hey..."

"Shopping ar? (Looking at my tag) Oh... work..."

"Yea lah..."

"Goin' off 'dy?"

"Nah lah. I just reached."

"Serious ar!?"

"Yea lah... (while pinching the cheek of his little daughter)... Hi Miniature SPT!"

"(Looking at the daughter) Call uncle Birthmark..."

"Don't call me uncle! Call me koko..."

Yeah. "Uncle" triggers me.

When your buddies tied their knots one by one, having children, or are expecting, you know it's time.

Anywhere the tyre can touch, it's a race track.

The apex, or the racing line exist in any degree of bent on the road.

We will clip onto your lane.

The signal lights.

In this part of the country, the signal / indicator lights is a form of invitation to the car behind the lane you are switching onto, to speed up. It also serves as an optional deco.

Please use with care.

Random thoughts #651

Bad hair day.

It's all in your mind, really. If someone actually come up to and say your hair look bad, it's
really bad. Otherwise, let it go.

Will be away for a while. Till then, give this a ponder.

We made technology

It has been two days the office is offline.

It wasn't the Macs and PCs. The routers and modem are fine. Not the cables and land line either. After been thrown around by the ISP
(you know who), what shocked us is that they said we didn't pay the "multimedia" bill for almost a year.

What!?
Biar betul?

We shifted nearly a year ago. The
bill, was sent to the old office. Apparently someone forgot to change address. Hence, our connection has been deactivated. Aren't whatever bills that got to do with the "land line" suppose to be in one bill?

These two days got me thinking; what
was before the internet?

Nothing
.

Did we rely too much on it?

I'm
always "online" if I'm awake. At home or office. I logged on full time to chat, occasionally on social networking site, aside from surfing porns stimulating the creative juice, and other work-related research.

I can live without it when I'm outside.

"Internet" wasn't introduced to me until the mid 90s. And I've only got my own line when I started college. After so many years, there is
nothing left to surf. But I still frowned at bad connection. If I'm in front of the computer. Doing nothing.

Give these simple things a ponder:

Can you live without handphone?

Can you
still drive with manual transmission?

Can you sleep without the air-cond?

Was these habit? Have we became too dependent on them? Or that we are too used to them, they became an addiction?

There will be a point when technology ceased to advance. What's next when the LCD is paper thin? Is there a term call
highest definition? How small would you want your handphone to be when it's already one cell size and implanted in your body? So why bother?

Technology is suppose to improves our lives. Don't let technology made us.

But tell me how.

Hope tomorrow is not the third day.

Happy 52nd Birthday, Malaysia...

...NOT!

Are you people misinformed? Have you forgotten what was taught in Sejarah? Why kept saying "Happy <insert your year here> Birthday, Malaysia" over and over again on independence day? I've been hearing this for years now. Newscasters are saying it. TV hosts are saying it. Even ministers are saying it.
Why the government are not saying anything to correct it?

I'm gonna write about this to newspaper real soon.

Malaya (Malaysia, then) gained its independence back in 1957, on the 31st of August. "Malaysia" was not established until 1963, on the 16th of September! Come on, Malaysian! For whatever sake. Bangun!

You all really need to be properly informed. Sheesh.

Anyway, Happy 52nd Independence Day, Malaysia. Merdeka!
